To Be Loved

Dear Readers,

It's not just about love. It's about so much more. Love alone cannot sustain a relationship; it takes more than just the simple act of saying "I love you." It takes effort, dedication, and a willingness to show up for one another.

When we think about someone who shows up for us, I envision a person who is reliable and dependable. They are there for us through thick and thin, through the ups and downs of life. They support us wholeheartedly, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence when we need it the most.

Support is a crucial element of a healthy and loving relationship. It involves understanding, empathy, and a genuine desire to help your partner thrive. Whether it's cheering them on during their accomplishments or providing a shoulder to lean on during difficult times, a supportive partner is someone who is always there for you.

Furthermore, a truly inspiring partner is one who motivates and encourages you to become the best version of yourself. They believe in your potential and push you to reach new heights. Their unwavering belief in you instills a sense of confidence and self-assurance, making you feel capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.

Understanding each other's love languages is another essential aspect of a fulfilling relationship. Love languages refer to the specific ways in which we feel most loved and appreciated. It could be through acts of service, words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, or receiving gifts. When someone takes the time to truly understand and cater to your love language, it shows a deep level of emotional intelligence and care. It demonstrates their commitment to making you feel loved and valued.

Reciprocation is equally vital in a relationship. It's not just about receiving love but also about returning it in a way that speaks to your partner. Love, just like any other aspect of a relationship, is a two-way street. Understanding your partner's needs and preferences and making an effort to reciprocate their expressions of love creates a reciprocal and harmonious bond.

In essence, love is a multifaceted emotion that requires consistent effort and action. It's about finding someone who not only loves you but actively supports and inspires you. It's about being with someone who pays attention to your love languages and reciprocates love in a way that resonates with you. Love is more than just words; it's the daily commitment to show up and be there for one another, understanding each other on a deep and meaningful level. When you find someone who embodies all these qualities, you know you have found someone truly worth cherishing in your life.

Look How Far You've Come

Dear Readers,

Life is a constant journey filled with victories, defeats, and countless challenges that test our strength and resilience. Sometimes, in the midst of the chaos, we may forget just how far we've come. We become so engrossed in the present moment, tackling one obstacle after another, that we fail to acknowledge our achievements and growth along the way. However, there are moments when we pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on our journey. And that's when it hits us: we did it.

Throughout our lives, we endure storms that we never thought we would survive. We face circumstances that push us to our limits, leaving us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. In these moments of darkness, it's easy to lose sight of our inner strength, to doubt our ability to overcome the shadows. Yet somehow, we persevere. We weather the storms and withstand the turbulence, one day at a time. The power within us to keep going is truly remarkable.

Like climbing a mountain, life often presents us with peaks that seem impossible to conquer. These peaks represent our deepest fears, insecurities, and self-doubts. We may question if we have what it takes to overcome them, unsure if we possess the capacity to climb any higher.

But here's the thing: we do. With each step forward, we discover strength and resilience we never knew existed within us. We conquer those mountains, slowly but surely, until we reach the summit. The view from the top is breathtaking, and it's a testament to our perseverance and determination.

When we stop and take a moment to look back on our journey, we realize that we have made it through countless storms and climbed mountains that once seemed unreachable. We find ourselves in a place we never thought we would reach. Yet, here we are, standing tall. That within itself is an incredible accomplishment. Better yet, it's a reason to celebrate.

We often forget to celebrate our achievements, big or small, because we are too focused on the next challenge or goal. We overlook the progress we have made, which diminishes the value of our hard work. But you, my friend, are worth celebrating. Your strength, resilience, and ability to persevere through the darkest of times is remarkable. You have come further than you ever thought possible, and that deserves recognition.

So take a moment to acknowledge how far you've come. Embrace the storms you survived, the mountains you climbed, and the obstacles you overcame. Celebrate the person you have become, the lessons you have learned, and the growth you have experienced. You are a walking testimony that holds the ability to triumph over adversity.

Remember that life is a journey, and the challenges you face along the way are what help shape you into the beautiful person you. You may not always realize how far you've come until you look back at where you've been, but when you do, it's magical. You realize that you made it through the storms you never thought you would survive, and you conquered mountains you once believed were impossible to climb. And that, my friend, is an extraordinary accomplishment.

Celebrate your journey, celebrate yourself, and never forget that you are worth being honored.

You Are Special

Hello Friends,

A majority of my life, I have walked a path of self-discovery alone. I have learned to navigate life's challenges and hold space for others as they too embark on their personal journeys. But along the way, I have come to recognize that very few have been there to hold space on the same level.

I am the type of person who keeps my circle small. So, if I hear something said about me that rings true, I can easily trace back to the source. There is a distinct difference between being known by many and having genuine friends.

While I have lived in various places, immersed myself in different cultures, and incorporated those experiences into my own life. It has all been done solely for my growth to be a better person. Whether I found myself in a destructive cycle or hit rock bottom, it was clear that I was the only one who could save myself.

Once I realized that no knight in shining armor would come to my rescue- it became a pivotal moment. It presented me with a choice - to succumb to the darkness or to connect with a higher source and become a source of light in the world. Growing without proper nurturing and the support of others can be incredibly challenging. It's like trying to bloom in the desert without water or sunlight.

If you find yourself feeling alone on your own journey, know that there are many others who can relate to your struggles. It's crucial to lock in with yourself, to ensure that even when the world seems to be against you, you have your own back.

Never allow yourself to become your biggest opponent or hater. Instead, hold yourself accountable and shower yourself with the love and care you deserve. Step up and do better.

Breaking free from bad habits and developing healthy ones is a hard part of this process. Recognize that your potential is not limited by what others believe, but by what you believe you can accomplish.

Set unreasonable goals, push yourself beyond limits, and refuse to settle for mediocrity. Even when you reach the top, keep looking up, because growth is a lifelong journey.

These days its easy to feel disconnected and alone, it's so very essential to remember that you matter. Embrace the strength that lies within you. And if no one else is there to hold space for you, learn to hold space for yourself. You are capable of creating an incredible, purposeful life. So keep going, keep growing, and keep shining your light into the world.

Staying True to Myself: Why I Would Never Change My Hair Color for a Job

Dear Readers,

In a world where conformity often reigns supreme, I firmly believe that expressing one's individuality should never be compromised, especially when it comes to personal appearance.

Vibrant and eye-catching, my blue hair has always been an extension of my personality, and I have never shied away from proudly displaying it.

The color of my hair does not define who I am or impact the dedication and effort I put into my work. If a potential employer should view the color of my hair as a drawback or assume it would devalue their business, then it simply doesn't align with my values and aspirations.

Allow me to elaborate why hair color should never be a barrier to professional success. It is essential to recognize and appreciate the qualities and skills an individual brings to the table, rather than base judgments purely on appearance.

By valuing and acknowledging the abilities, experiences, and expertise I possess, I display a level of confidence and self-assurance that I believe resonates much further than the superficial criterion of hair color.

I understand and respect the importance of maintaining a professional image in the corporate world. Different companies have varying expectations when it comes to employee appearance, and I appreciate these distinct "looks" people expect.

However, at the same time, I remain steadfast in my belief that my qualifications and contributions should be considered beyond the color of my hair.

I believe by maintaining this mentality, I am effectively sifting through potential employers to find the right fit – those who recognize and appreciate individuality and the value I bring to their company.

While it is essential to dress appropriately for interviews and adhere to any specific company dress codes, it is equally important not to sacrifice our personal identity in the process.

True success lies in finding the perfect balance between fitting into the corporate environment while still remaining authentic to our genuine selves. I project confidence in my abilities rather than conforming to societal expectations, and this ensures that any potential employer sees me for who I truly am, someone who will contribute significantly to their organization.

When looking for a new job opportunity, it is crucial to remember that interviews are not just a moment for companies to evaluate candidates, but also for you to evaluate the company.

If an employer is solely concerned with my hair color, it raises questions for me about their openness to diversity and inclusion. Allowing creativity, and embracing new perspectives in the workplace.

When staying authentic to myself, I send a clear message about the importance I place on genuine connections, personal growth, and mutual respect within a professional setting.

Moral of the story is maintaining my blue hair, or any distinctive hairstyle/color, should never be seen as a hindrance to career success.

By projecting self-confidence, and recognizing our unique potential, we can find employers who genuinely value our contributions beyond appearances.

When searching for new employment, remember that a company's values should align with yours, creating a space where you can flourish. Don't be afraid to embrace who you are, dress the role, and confidently bring your true potential to the table.

Building Connections: Authentic Ties or Superficial Small Talk

Hello Friends and Followers!

In a world that is constantly buzzing with technological advancements, social media filters, and virtual realities, the art of forging genuine connections seems to be fading away. We live in a time where making eye contact has become a daunting task, and where superficial conversations have become the norm. It's disheartening to witness how our ability to read body language and truly connect with others has been replaced by meaningless interactions that leave us feeling empty.

We've all experienced it—the awkwardness of small talk at parties, the constant scrolling through social media feeds without any meaningful engagement, or the feeling of talking to someone while they are mentally miles away. It seems as if everyone is preoccupied with projecting the perfect image, rather than sharing genuine emotions or thoughts. These connections leave us feeling disconnected and longing for something more substantial.

But amidst the superficiality, there is hope. Learning how to navigate these environments and protect our energy is essential for maintaining our mental and emotional well-being. We must strive to spread love and warmth, but we also need to accept that it is not everyone's mission to reciprocate in the same way.

We often forget that genuine friendship requires effort, vulnerability, and the willingness to invest time and energy into building connections. It requires us to break down walls and allow ourselves to be seen authentically, knowing that not everyone will appreciate or reciprocate our openness. We cannot force others to have the same level of depth or desire for meaningful connections, but we can choose to surround ourselves with those who value and cherish them.

Protecting our energy is crucial in a world where superficiality often trumps authenticity. It doesn't mean we should build walls or become guarded individuals, but rather, we need to develop a sense of discernment about the company we keep. We should learn to recognize when an interaction is not serving us in a positive way, and have the courage to distance ourselves from those who drain our energy or leave us feeling empty.

However, it's important to remember that not all relationships are built to last. Some may only serve us for a particular phase of our lives or teach us valuable lessons before drifting away. Rather than holding onto these connections out of fear of loneliness, we should appreciate the unique experiences they brought us and gracefully let them go when their purpose has been fulfilled.

In a world that struggles to make eye contact, let us be the ones who bravely look others in the eye, acknowledging their humanity, and creating space for genuine connections. Let us not be discouraged by superficial conversations or lackluster interactions but be inspired to seek out those who crave a deeper, more enriching exchange.

Above all, let us strive to spread love and kindness, even in a world that may not always reciprocate. The energy we radiate can have a profound impact, and by choosing to be authentic and intentional in our interactions, we can inspire others to do the same.

So, let us protect our energy, surround ourselves with kindred spirits, and embark on a journey to create real connections in this increasingly disconnected world. It won't always be easy, but the relationships we build along the way will be worth every effort and remind us that genuine connections are still possible, even when the world seems devoid of them.

Embracing 2024: A Journey of Growth, Connection, and Inward Reflection

As the clock struck midnight and the fireworks echoed through the night air, I found myself contemplating the significance of the new year. For so long, resolutions seemed like empty promises, easily forgotten as the days passed by. However, this year, I decided it was time to set obtainable goals that would shape my life in meaningful ways.

Among the multitude of aspirations that flickered in my mind, I knew building up my blog followers had to be near the top of my list. Writing has always been a form of therapy for me, but now, it's time for my words to bloom like a flower, captivating and connecting souls that resonate with my message. Together, we form an unbreakable tribe, a community bound by shared experiences and a unified desire for growth.

Yet, connection goes beyond the virtual realm. This year, I yearn to build unbreakable connections in the physical world, too. In a society consumed by surface-level interactions, true genuine connections have become rare gems. I want to foster meaningful relationships, cultivating deep-rooted friendships that remind us of the beauty in human connection and the strength it brings.

While nourishing relationships with others is vital, I also strive to nurture my body and mind. It's time to embark on a journey towards self-improvement, pushing past the boundaries of comfort and complacency. I yearn for cognitive clarity, aiming to decalcify my pineal gland for enhanced focus and awareness. By prioritizing self-care and exploring various wellness practices, I hope to awaken my mind, body, and soul to their fullest potential.

Stepping into this new year, I can't help but reflect on the past five years I've spent in the same house, surrounded by memories that elicit mixed emotions within me. Moving forward, I crave a fresh start, breathing new life into my surroundings and embracing the possibility of new beginnings. Creating a haven for my children, providing them with the dreams I never had the opportunity to live as a child, becomes a steadfast motivation for the path that lies ahead.

In 2024, every moment will be cherished and utilized to its fullest potential. I am determined to shift the perspective on what it means to build a life from the ground up. Life's endeavors are not defined solely by our successes but rather, how we rise from rock bottom.

It is through resilience, determination, and an unwavering belief in ourselves that we truly reach the summit we envision.

As the tides of time carry us further into this new year, let us hold onto our aspirations, pursuing our goals with unwavering dedication. May we build connections that transcend boundaries, nurture our minds, bodies, and souls, and embrace the power of fresh beginnings.

Together, let us transform our lives and leave an indelible mark on the world in 2024 and beyond.
